The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department had a famous beauty on a high pedestal.

That was Inspector Jin Kurosawa of the First Investigative Division.

Inspector Jin Kurosawa was conscientious, highly capable in a fight, upright, and an excellent detective. He had solved many major and cold cases and prevented numerous violent crimes before they could happen, saving lives. He was a role model to every police officer.

He was handsome and aloof, with deep, soulful emerald eyes, long silver hair, and a tall, slender build.

Though his manner was cool, he loved children and animals. He enjoyed life, had no vices, possessed personal assets worth tens of millions, had a wide network of connections, and was passionate about charity.

He seemed like a perfect person.

So,

everyone praised Jin Kurosawa as a good man.

If he wasn't a good man, who was?

Until one day,

a bunch of people claiming to be players suddenly appeared.

The moment they saw Jin Kurosawa, they pointed at him in shock and said, "You're Gin! How can you be a police officer? You're supposed to be a killer!"

Who was Gin?

Gin was a ruthless executioner with countless lives on his hands. The underworld was full of grisly rumors about him. He was a devil who inspired terror wherever he went.

The shocking rumor began spreading far and wide:

Jin Kurosawa was actually Gin, a codename member of the multinational underground organization "The Crows." He was a spy the organization had planted in the Metropolitan Police Department.

Everyone couldn't help but wonder:

Could Jin Kurosawa really be a bad guy?

Jin Kurosawa thought life was child's play.

He was like a character in a life simulation game with every talent maxed out.

Ever since he started working for "The Crows" at fifteen,

no one had ever escaped his control alive, and he had never failed a mission.

His standing in the organization had risen steadily, making him second only to the boss and above everyone else.

But he soon grew bored with the killer's game.

So, at twenty, he accepted the boss's assignment to go undercover, attended police academy, and became an officer in the First Investigative Division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

At first, police work was interesting enough. He handled cases of every size and found it amusing to watch suspects beg on their knees.

But gradually, Jin Kurosawa realized that he was surrounded by people who regarded him as the department's model officer, pursued him with every imaginable tactic, and gazed at him with adoration.

It annoyed him.

While investigating a poisoning at a banquet, the victim suddenly came back to life for some inexplicable reason and stared at him in terror as if seeing a ghost, shouting "Gin!" in front of everyone.

Clearly an idiot.

But to be honest, he was already tired of playing police officer.

Seeing the trust in the eyes of the people around him, all firmly on his side,

Jin Kurosawa suddenly had a new idea.

He would manipulate their feelings, watch them fall for him, hate him, and still be unable to let him go.

It was time to start a new game.
