In his first year as a widower, Yan Cang received a mission to assassinate the F4 from the aristocratic academy at their wedding. Then his wealthy ex, who had cheated on him, showed up at his door.
The ex was used to being a playboy. He bluntly said he didn't want to marry into one of the F4 families and asked Yan Cang to protect him while he escaped.
Yan Cang was fretting over how to infiltrate the F4 wedding. Hearing this, he immediately spotted a chance to earn two rewards and came up with a brilliant plan.
Yan Cang simply held out his hand to his ex. "Pay me, and I'll marry him in your place."
His ex: "Huh?"
On the wedding day, Yan Cang planned to hide his weapon beneath his wedding dress and take the F4 out as soon as they closed their eyes to recite their vows.
But before he could, a group of assassins burst through the door. Their leader declared that he had come to kill the F4.
Not wanting his mission to go bust, Yan Cang acted first, quickly pulled out his gun, and shot the F4 in the head.
A gunshot rang out, followed by screams from every corner of the venue.
The F4 stood right where he was, his wound slowly healing, a smile still on his bloodied face.
Yan Cang: ???
F4: "Since you've completed your mission to kill me, darling, will you accept a job from me now?"
Yan Cang: ...
F4: "I can pay you five times the reward for your last mission."
Yan Cang: !!!
The next moment, the F4 took out a diamond ring and slipped it onto Yan Cang's ring finger.
The F4 smiled. "That's your advance."
Yan Cang inspected the two diamonds on the ring, grinned with satisfaction, and turned his gun around. "So, who do you want me to take out?"
A few things to know:
1. Beta top, Alpha bottom. Pretty top, muscular bottom. Jia He top x Yan Cang bottom. No switching, no Japanese-style top, no mud top.
2. Both are completely faithful in body and heart. The top only loves the bottom, and the bottom only loves the top. There's more to the bottom's marriage and ex than meets the eye. Neither of them is perfect.
3. That's all I can think of for now. I've already revised the blurb, and it may still change a little before the novel starts.
