The snow-mountain promise she couldn't keep at sixteen grew into a thorn in her heart over the next ten years.
Until she met the bartender with a blue iris tattoo on his wrist at the Wind's Rest bar in Lijiang.
He always skipped the chorus when he played guitar, and called his cocktails “Summer's End.”
He said, “People who see the golden sunrise on the mountain will be happy.”
But he didn't say that some people are destined to become the most beautiful shadow in each other's lives.
Theme: “True redemption isn't forgetting regret, but learning to be whole despite it.”
