[Fairy Tail] Love You, Mom. See You Tomorrow

The shadowy figure from childhood once said:

“Don’t get too hung up on one person when it comes to love.

If they keep turning you down or avoiding you, just let them go.”

And so...

“Sorry, I have a fiance.”

Wait, why does this scene look so familiar?

The setting and plot feel familiar, but this time Erza is the one pushing Jellal away.

Jellal stares blankly as Erza runs toward the shadowy figure in the distance.

A terrible feeling comes over him: It looks like someone stole my girl.jpg

Reading Guide: This story is also known as I Love Your Mom, See You Tomorrow.

1. Bad writing, a disastrous plot, flowery language piled on thick, excessive memes, my own interpretations and out-of-character writing, Mary Sue, original plotlines and personal headcanons in pairs, lots of changes to the original story, and some original characters will die (mainly villains).

2. Some references to Made in Abyss, Cthulhu, and the SCP Foundation, but the main setting and tone are still Fairy Tail.

3. Original protagonist + Erza. The protagonist and Erza have a purely mother-daughter/teacher-student relationship. The viewpoint switches between Erza and her adoptive mother/godmother. The original protagonist has Cthulhu elements, so she is technically genderless, but identifies as female.

4. Erza-centered, with some other characters possibly having one-sided crushes on her. The main romance is still Jellal and Erza going back and forth, with her godmother fanning the flames and provoking Jellal.

5. Depending on the plot, someone may be bullied (pranked). The current target is Jellal, repeatedly tormented by the boomerang of his own fiance's words, until he develops a sense of crisis.

6. The original plot and backstory have been changed. The story is about how an overwhelmingly powerful protagonist meets and reunites with Erza, then dominates the battlefield. (Mashima hardly ever lets characters die, so here the villains will either die or learn their lesson.)

7. I want to give Erza a reasonably dependable parental figure. I’m writing fanfiction, so let me have this!
