Synopsis
Li Simiao, the top student in her small town, arrives at Xindu International Preparatory School, a pilot school for education reform, clutching a letter of recommendation from her parents.
On her very first day, she runs into Lin Yi, a troublemaker from the main campus, who is leading his classmates in a passionate protest for equal access to education.
By a twist of fate, he “stamps” her as one of his own, and she somehow ends up joining the group petitioning the school board.
Lin Yi is like a ball of fire, bold and unruly, the leader in the eyes of the main-campus students.
He takes her into the thick of the action, and the two become a bickering pair of frenemies.
Then there's Xing Mian, the school board chairman's only son. Like a deep pool, he's gloomy and mysterious, and she feels her heart stir at first sight.
Just as she thinks she's found a cause to fight for and the beginnings of a crush, a file reveals a shocking secret:
She belonged to the lofty international division all along.
Overnight, she's gone from a comrade fighting for equal rights to a “mole” and a “fake” in everyone's eyes.
Even Lin Yi, who once fought alongside her, now looks at her with icy suspicion.
Faced with misunderstanding and isolation, where will Li Simiao go from here?
The youthful battle over equality, dreams, secret crushes, and growing up has only just begun.
Will the vibrant young man eventually understand the sincerity she's carved into her eraser stamp?
