After Falling for My Husband's Younger Brother

On the night of her wedding, Ming Yao does not consummate her marriage with her husband, Xie Lin.

She is betrothed to the eldest son of the Xie family. At her parents' command and with the match arranged by the matchmaker, they marry.

But on their wedding night, Xie Lin lifts her red veil and looks at her coldly. He tells her his heart belongs to someone else and that he will never love her.

Hearing this, Ming Yao hides her face behind her veil and cries, cursing Xie Lin as a heartless man who has no gentlemanly conduct. Xie Lin hates women who cry and complain, so he turns and leaves at once.

Once he's gone, Ming Yao wipes away her tears and smiles.

As if! Who doesn't have someone they love?

So, under cover of night, she sneaks out and climbs into the bed of his younger brother, Xie Yuan.

Xie Yuan hates his elder half-brother, Xie Lin. Ming Yao's engagement to Xie Lin is precisely why Xie Yuan approaches her so carefully, ultimately deceiving her completely until she can't live without him.

But later, he realizes he's falling deeper and deeper, especially when he watches her grow distant from him and become inseparable from his elder half-brother, with marks on her neck that aren't his...

Jealousy drives him mad. He can no longer settle for sneaking around with her; he wants them to be together openly.

He wants her all to himself.
