On the first day Shen Yanci returned to the company to give his work report, his best friend could take it no longer. He grabbed him and said they had to teach their boss a lesson.
Before Shen Yanci could even get the whole story, his friend produced a fiery red dress and sweet-talked him into taking on the task of revenge.
At the banquet, he couldn't find the big, fat boss, but he did run into a gorgeous man. Taking advantage of his outfit, Shen Yanci flirted with him without a care in the world. Only afterward did he realize the handsome man was his own boss.
Shen Yanci nearly fainted. He was terrified Lu Jin would discover what he'd done and fire him in a fit of rage.
Just as he resolved to turn over a new leaf and start behaving, Lu Jin came looking for him, using threats and promises to make him meet up. Shen Yanci had no choice but to put on women's clothes and go to their dates again and again.
At work, the man was as businesslike as a stone-faced King of Hell. Beneath Shen Yanci's skirt, however, he was a supremely gentle and attentive lover, the sort who would give him the stars and not just the moon.
Later, Shen Yanci's closet filled with more and more dresses. He found a bizarre balance between getting scolded in men's clothes and being spoiled in women's clothes, and before he knew it, he was completely caught up in it.
He touched what little conscience he had left, decided things couldn't go on like this, and tried to pull away. In return, Lu Jin treated him with even more considerate care and understanding. At the last moment, with his reason on the verge of collapse, Shen Yanci still decided to come clean.
But he never expected Lu Jin to discover his secret first.
Lu Jin flew into a rage and pointed at him. "You gay people disgust me!"
After Lu Jin left, Shen Yanci's face turned deathly pale.
He knew he had brought this on himself, so he accepted it calmly and quietly submitted his resignation.
He'd thought the paperwork would be finished quickly, but Lu Jin dragged it out and made things difficult for him for a whole month.
He endured it all without a word. On the final day, convinced that he and Lu Jin were even, he packed up and prepared to leave.
When Lu Jin realized Shen Yanci was really leaving, he panicked. He blocked his way, trying every kind of sweet talk and harsh words, and even made a plea without realizing it. "Give me some time..."
Shen Yanci pushed him away without expression. "Why should I give you time?"
