[Yu Feiran's POV]

Everyone knew that Yu Feiran had a dream ferret.

She doted on her snow ferret, Isabelle, so much that everyone knew about it. She carried her around all day, telling her, "I love you."

The person she had truly fallen for was her aunt, Yu Fanqing, who was the same age as her.

By chance, she learned that she and her aunt weren't related by blood. She tentatively wrote her a love letter, scaring away that cool, moonlight-like woman.

Seven years later, her aunt had become the youngest Best Actress in the entertainment industry, seemingly out of reach.

Her aunt was back, and the family was about to welcome their true heiress.

[Yu Fanqing's POV]

Yu Fanqing would always remember that day in high school when she unexpectedly learned she wasn't the Yu family's heiress, and received a love letter from her little niece on the same day.

Panicked, she ran off to the entertainment industry.

When they met again, she was a Best Actress, and the other woman was the young head of the Yu family.

That rainy night, she heard Yu Feiran say she was a fake heiress. Yu Fanqing knew it was a trap, but still fell into the one and only refuge she had.

When the real heiress appeared, she was ready to step aside once again.

But the next moment, the world spun around her.

While everyone else was swept up in the joy, Yu Feiran pinned her against the wall and kissed her. Warm breath brushed her ear. "Auntie, this is the last time I'll call you that. Yu Fanqing, now you really belong to me."

Yu Fanqing tried to stay calm. "My parents, brother, and sister-in-law are all outside..."

Yu Feiran chuckled, running a fingertip over her reddened lips. "Wrong. Now your brother and sister-in-law have become our parents, and our parents have become our grandparents."

After discovering my aunt wasn't related to me by blood, I did something crazy.

Because she was getting engaged, and not to me.

I woke up in the hospital. She was keeping watch by my bedside, her usually cool eyes terribly red.

When she saw me open my eyes, her whole body trembled. "Try going crazy like that again."

I smiled. "Auntie, I'm sorry."

"Stay with me for a while. Just me, okay?"

Wen Xizui had been the adored young lady of the Wen family ever since she was little. When she was ten, the family adopted fifteen-year-old Bai Yingxue. Bai Yingxue was quiet when she first arrived, but she went to Wen Xizui's extracurricular classes with her, played with her, and gave her all kinds of gifts. Wen Xizui thought Bai Yingxue was the best big sister. A big sister was supposed to be aloof and say little.

Until one day, Bai Yingxue held her dead cat and apologized to her.

That was the cat Wen Xizui had raised since she was little.

Wen Xizui insisted that Bai Yingxue leave the Wen family.

Three days later, Wen Xizui was sent abroad.

"Bai Yingxue, this family is named Wen. You're just an outsider."

Wen Xizui never expected that by the time she returned from studying abroad, Bai Yingxue would have become the family heir.

Wen Xizui knew crying and making a scene wouldn't work. "Sister, I like you."

After Bai Yingxue left, Wen Xizui began to suffer from insomnia.

It seemed she couldn't live without Bai Yingxue.

At her next banquet, she saw a woman who looked just like Bai Yingxue. The other woman introduced herself as Xue Ying.

And she was on a blind date.

[Bai Yingxue's POV]

Bai Yingxue's original name was Xue Ying. She was the daughter of the Xue family in Country H. When she was young, her family hunted her down, and President Wen rescued her.

She became the Wen family's adopted daughter.

She liked Wen Xizui very much. Wen Xizui never played mind games with her.

One day, she discovered the Xue family had reached out to Wen Xizui. The cat died. So she sent Wen Xizui abroad.

When Wen Xizui finally returned, Bai Yingxue knew she was lying when she said, "Sister, I like you."

She simply watched her perform.

But under her day-after-day pursuit, Bai Yingxue still fell for her little by little. When she heard Wen Xizui had been kidnapped, she thought the Xue family was behind it again. By the time she reached Wen Xizui and learned it was just one of her schemes, it was too late.

Bai Yingxue decided to follow her heart.

As long as Wen Xizui kept lying to her for another day, she'd keep believing her for another day. Maybe she really did love her.

In the end, she still lost the gamble and fled back to her family.

While handling a blind date, she ran into her again. Again.

Wen Xizui grabbed a microphone. "Xue Ying, I know you're Bai Yingxue. Kiss me once and I'll forgive you for leaving without a word, and for going on this blind date."

Bai Yingxue refused. "Then don't forgive me."

Wen Xizui jumped off the stage, pinned her against the wall, and kissed her. The guests erupted in shock. Bai Yingxue bit through her lip. The taste of blood spread, but Wen Xizui smiled. "You still haven't changed your habit of biting people."

Bai Yingxue finally looked up, her eyes red. "Wen Xizui, what makes you think I'd still believe you?"

"Sister, I'm sorry."

"When I came back to the country, I lied and said I liked you."

"Before you went home, I lied and said I hated you."
