Sweet and sour romance / pseudo-incest / seemingly hated by everyone, secretly loved by everyone
Brooding, obsessive top x aloof, untouchable bottom
Xie Wenyan was an illegitimate child of the Fu family.
Or perhaps she was.
There was nothing about her that resembled either Fu Jinshu or Fu Yuzhu.
The first time Xie Wenyan appeared before the Fu family, she was just fourteen, in the middle of a growth spurt. She was growing taller, painfully thin, and deathly pale from lack of sunlight.
Fu Yuzhu hated her and despised her. Now and then, she would bring her up in public: “I don't want that bastard in the house. She can only live in the basement.”
Fu Yuzhu was smug, like a proud, beautiful peacock.
That peacock had lost her mother at a very young age. Fu Jinshu, her older sister, cherished and doted on her, doing everything she could to protect her and give her whatever she wanted.
Xie Wenyan wanted that kind of love too.
So she took a piece of evidence that could ruin Fu Yuzhu and used it to threaten Fu Jinshu, who had never once looked her in the eye.
“My first demand: I want to sleep in your arms.”
