One-line summary: Tanjiro can dream about the original manga plot. After the Demon King abducts him and he loses his memories, he accidentally changes everyone's fate.

Tanjiro often dreams of a strange "book."
In the "book," he sees the demons and humans around him in real life.
He sees their pasts and futures.

Tanjiro wants to change those endings, even if it comes at a cost.
At the Infinity Castle, with no memories, Tanjiro takes the Demon King and the Upper Moons as his family, whom he will protect with everything he has, simply because he made a promise. Even after learning some cruel truths from the "book," he still wants to pull the demons he loves up from the depths, no matter the price.
When he meets human friends during the Demon Slayer Corps selection, he has yet to master his Breathing Style. But when the "book" tells him his friend will be in mortal danger, Tanjiro still rushes forward without hesitation and saves him.
As the warm sun rises over the train, he saves that flash of crimson.
The twins of "being" and "nonbeing" coexist.
Anger and tenderness can exist side by side in the Butterfly Mansion.
Tanjiro will do his best to change the ending, whether the other person is human or demon.
