[A heroine who seems gentle but is actually violent × A quick-tempered hero who's easy to placate]
Chi Weilan is the senior disciple of Moheng Academy.
In the eyes of the world, she avoids conflict and lets things pass with a smile.
Everyone at the academy agrees: if Senior Sister gets angry, the other person must have gone too far!
Until one day, when the demons besiege the city and the immortal sects are riven by constant infighting,
Chi Weilan, with just one brush,
drives back the demons and puts an end to the internal strife.
Everyone realizes: no wonder Senior Sister doesn't get angry easily!
Shang Zhuo, son of the Sword Sect's leader,
is sent to the academy to calm down because he's too unruly.
The first time he meets the academy's Senior Sister, he wonders how anyone can be so good-natured.
When Shang Zhuo refuses to follow the rules and gets punished,
she smiles and advises him, "You're too full of rage. It's no good for your cultivation."
He scoffs and tries to provoke her into getting angry and hitting him,
but he never succeeds, and ends up worked into a fury himself.
Later, when Senior Sister really does get angry,
Shang Zhuo tries to stop her.
"Chi Weilan," he says, grabbing the hand holding her brush. "Which one of us is really more full of rage?"
Chi Weilan insists every day: she's really just cultivating her character!
(Probably a lighthearted story with more focus on the romance.)
