[Both leads are inexperienced] [Happy ending] [Chinese student in the UK and British Chinese man] [The man pursues his ex after the breakup]
This is the story of a gambler who never lost, until he lost everything, body and soul.
A jealous fake playboy and heir to a title × A spoiled, beautiful, vindictive heiress
Jiang Ye first met Chu Lingyi in a bar in London.
She was turning down the advances of her ninth man.
Under the dim lights, her bright eyes and beautiful teeth made it impossible to look away.
Jiang Ye made a bet with his friend: I can win her over before the holidays.
Over the next few days, Jiang Ye kept going to the cafe beside the university, waiting for her to show up.
Chu Lingyi first met Jiang Ye at a cafe near UCL.
He accidentally spilled coffee on himself.
Just as she was starting to fall for him, she suddenly learned the truth. She gave a disdainful smile. A bet, huh? I can do that too.
After finding out Jiang Ye was apparently still a virgin, Chu Lingyi told her friend, "Want to bet I can sleep with him before the holidays?"
Over the next few days, Chu Lingyi went all out, determined to win Jiang Ye before the holiday.
They got caught in the rain beneath Big Ben, sunbathed in Hyde Park, and admired the angel lights on Regent Street. Together, they wandered through countless corners of the city.
But the Christmas holiday was drawing near. It was all like a beautiful dream interrupted by an alarm clock, like Cinderella's carriage, like a bubble about to burst.

Chu Lingyi never imagined she would run into Jiang Ye at her aunt's dinner party after returning to China for the holidays.
The man stood among the crowd, surrounded by admirers.
She pretended not to know him, smiling as she clinked glasses and welcomed every man who approached her.
Halfway through the party, she went to the restroom. When she came out, a powerful force suddenly dragged her into a guest room nearby.
Her delicate wrist was pinned to the wall, held with gentle force. The man bent down and swallowed her gasp, their lips meeting as a satisfied sigh escaped his throat.
Outside the door, guests chatted and footsteps drew closer.
Her legs were a little unsteady. Once she came to her senses, she opened her mouth and bit down hard, then smiled sweetly. "Don't be a sore loser, Young Master Jiang."
The man licked the blood from the corner of his mouth, then cleaned the blood from her lips with his tongue. His voice was humble as he pleaded, "Lingling, don't ignore me. Please."
"This time, I'm betting on myself. I'm betting that I won't let go."
[Bonus scene]
As an impoverished international student, Jiang Ye could only repay his debt by doing housework for Chu Lingyi.
But he often made little mistakes.
Scalding soup soaked through the man's white T-shirt, clinging to his body and outlining his defined abdominal muscles as they rose and fell with his breathing. His fair skin was faintly red beneath the fabric, and she couldn't look away.
Those glistening blue-green eyes looked straight at her. "Can I use your bathroom?"
