Folks, this is a prerelease teaser I put together when my story got featured. I've been too busy with updates and work to write the blurb, and I'll revise it later.
On an ordinary morning, an apocalyptic game suddenly descended upon Blue Star, instantly turning every living thing around the globe into data.
While Lu Zhao was asleep, she was transported to the entrance of a dungeon.
The System told her that she had to clear a dungeon to log into the game successfully. Any living being that failed to clear one within an hour would be erased.
At the dungeon entrance, aside from the dungeon's light curtain, lay three injured game NPCs.
A human had the title [Blacksmith] above his head and clutched a beginner's backpack with a note in bold red text.
A cat's ID read [So Annoying, Meow], and it held a gleaming golden staff in its paws.
A droopy Boston ivy had the title [Level One Wild Monster] above its head. Its roots, still above ground, were wrapped around an energy crystal that looked incredibly expensive.
Lu Zhao thought for a moment, then snatched the blacksmith's beginner's backpack, So Annoying, Meow's staff, and the Level One Wild Monster's energy crystal.
Before even logging into the game, she successfully learned the skill [Huh? Just Take It by Force?]
Then she asked them, "Are you really unable to move? Are you going to die? Is there anything you want me to tell your family?"
The Level One Wild Monster couldn't talk. [So Annoying, Meow] cursed her out, but the blacksmith ignored the fact that she'd taken his things by force and asked her to deliver a letter to his daughter in Baishi Town.
Lu Zhao went.
She didn't care about being erased. She just wasn't all that interested in living anymore.
Then, by accident, she completed a series of NPC quests and became an NPC who gave quests to players.
Lu Zhao: This is so annoying. Let's destroy the world already!
Theme: Enjoy the good things in life
