The Gorgeous Sweetheart of the 1970s Machinery Plant

Blurb:

Jiang Sh meng had hated Zhao Yan, who lived in the same residential compound, ever since she was little. She thought he was rough, uneducated, cold-faced, and taciturn.

The only thing about him that was even remotely appealing was his face.

The only time their lives crossed was when she was eighteen and about to marry his older brother, becoming Zhao Yan's sister-in-law.

After disaster struck the Jiang family, they were about to be sent to the Northwest. Jiang Sh meng's father temporarily entrusted her to the Zhao family. But on the very night of her wedding, her husband got caught up in a murder case and ended up in prison.

Her newly found shelter was gone just like that. Her mother-in-law cursed her for bringing bad luck to her husband and tried to drive her out of the Zhao household.

With nowhere else to turn, Jiang Sh meng, dazed and confused, opened the wrong door and met Zhao Yan's cold, somber gaze.

Suddenly, she remembered: Wasn't there still one more shelter she could take refuge in?

But later, every night, the waters in that harbor would toss her little boat about, with wild abandon, hot and scorching.

Zhao Yan was like a dog. Once he got his teeth into what he wanted, he wouldn't let go.

If she didn't want a miserable life, she would have to suffer for it. Was it too late for her to regret this now?
