"Rekindled romance" Melodrama "Wealthy family" Younger love interest*
Early story: Proud, love-starved, haughty and hard-to-handle heiress × insecure, sensitive, mild-mannered adopted daughter who lives under someone else’s roof
Later story: Down-and-out bankrupt painter × wealthy, obsessive collector
At a charity gala, countless camera flashes focused on a line of girls at the center of the stage.
The He family’s eldest daughter raised her haughty gaze and casually pointed to a girl she liked the look of.
From that moment on, the He family gained an adopted daughter, and He Xiaohan gained a secret model.
The genius painter He Xiaohan won countless art festival awards with her extraordinary artistic talent, and was hailed as the Monet of the twenty-first century.
In the summer when she was eighteen, He Xiaohan used an exhibition of her paintings to confess her love to her sensitive adopted sister, without giving her a choice.
The adopted daughter tore up every painting He Xiaohan had made of her with her own hands.
[Miss, I don’t have to suck up to you anymore.]
He Xiaohan announced that she was putting down her brush, declaring that her muse was dead.
Seven years passed in the blink of an eye. The He family went bankrupt, and He Xiaohan lost her former glory. Forced to resume painting under the pseudonym Shanlihong, she struggled to make ends meet.
Until a mysterious buyer paid an astronomical sum for ten paintings she had yet to create.
On the day they agreed to meet, He Xiaohan saw the person who had disappeared seven years ago.
[Miss, now it’s your turn to suck up to me.]
