The Binding of Isaac, a globally famous 2D roguelike adventure game.
As it happens, Isaac is a devoted player of The Binding of Isaac.
She plays for fun, at weddings and festivals, when she's happy, and whenever the whole family gets together.
One day, Isaac found this mod in the Steam Workshop.
Pirate Friends Mod.

What a fresh mod. Downloaded!
When Isaac entered the game, she found a huge selection of pirate friends in the mod.
She picked a straw hat icon at random. As soon as she entered, she heard a cheerful young man's voice:
"Huh? Where am I? Why am I, Hey!! A ghost! I've turned into a ghost!!"
Isaac thought it was so much fun!
These companion ghosts didn't just have lovely voices, they even had backstories of their own!
The mod's creator was a genius!
But Isaac didn't notice that the ghosts were looking at her more and more strangely...
A legend had recently begun circulating along the Grand Line.
There was a mysterious person named Isaac whose Devil Fruit power was terrifying. They could make people vanish at random, regardless of time, space, or place. Even the big shots couldn't resist.
More frightening still, after the big shots returned, they couldn't stop thinking about Isaac. The person apparently had the power to bewitch people!
According to rumors, the mysterious person could take on many forms, sometimes male and sometimes female. They liked self-harm, had a tragic background, and were incredibly strange!
Until one day, you know who showed her true face. She turned out to be a cute girl with a sweet face!
The girl was lovely, full of big-sister energy, and became the Grand Line's newest goddess just days after making her debut.
Unfortunately, the goddess herself was far too powerful, and she had plenty of big-shot admirers. Ordinary people could only gaze at her from afar.
Big Shot No. 1: "Huh? Isaac, didn't you say you liked my red hair? Then come with me!"
Big Shot No. 2: "Isaac! Be my crewmate, hehehe!!"
Big Shot No. 3: "That's not right! Didn't Isaac promise to join our ship? She even called me Dad!"
Big Shot No. N: "Fufufu! She's already joined the Donquixote Family!"
Everyone: "Who do you think you are?! Stay in prison and read your newspaper!"
Isaac: "Huh? Can't I join all of them? I've actually got several more outfits for disguises..."
Note:
1. This story is inspired by The Binding of Isaac. You don't need to have played it to enjoy the story.
2. The male lead hasn't been decided, but Isaac will definitely be the strongest.
3. In the early part of the story, pirates enter the game as companions. Later, Isaac herself enters the pirate world. Switching game characters will change her outfit and stats.
4. I've saved screenshots of this blurb. There's a good chance this will be the next story I start!
