[Jealous mixed-race senior top x hopelessly flirtatious, universally adored young master bottom]
Xia Shu stood at the dorm entrance with his suitcase, utterly resigned to his fate.
He, Young Master Xia, had somehow been schemed against by both his best gay friend and his own father, and ended up on a plane to America.
His bestie's parting words still rang in his ears:
"Baby, you have to protect your butt! I heard white guys are really intense~"
That's right. Besides going to school in America, Xia Shu was also supposed to meet his foreign fiance, whom he'd never laid eyes on.
The dorm room door opened from the inside. A tall man nodded at him. "Joshua Railing."
The man brushed past him, bringing the faint scent of pine into Xia Shu's nostrils.
The young master's heart left along with the man's retreating figure.
He was getting married anyway, so what was wrong with having a little fun with someone he liked first?
He dressed himself up like a little cake every day, but nobody cared.
It was infuriating. His tasteless roommate spent all day staring at that damn computer and studying code. Could a pile of characters really be more attractive than him?
Today, he was going on a date with the football team captain who kept sending him love letters!
"Summer, you have class tomorrow morning. I don't recommend going out now."
His taciturn roommate finally spoke to Summer Xia for the first time.
"Mind your own business!"

"That white guy smelled so strong I couldn't stand it. Joshua isn't like that at all."
Summer Xia slowly made his way into the classroom while on the phone with his best gay friend, continuing to complain. "Listen, I honestly think Joshua might be asexual, you know..."
He looked up and met someone's gaze head-on.
"Summer Xia, you're late. As your teaching assistant, I believe I'm entitled to deduct three credits from your grade."
Go ahead and deduct them.
All Xia Shu could be glad about was that Joshua didn't know Chinese and had no idea he'd been talking behind his back.
"I haven't entered anything in the gradebook yet. One point per offense. That's quite a good deal."
That was the deal Senior Joshua offered him afterward.
That night, Xia Shu was like a doll, held in place in front of the full-length mirror as Joshua posed him in all sorts of ways.
"Are you a rabid dog, Joshua?"
Xia Shu's voice was a little hoarse. His bestie had been right: white guys really were intense.
Joshua silenced him with a kiss. "Maybe."
"You always dress up so beautifully to go on dates with men outside."
The man's eyes were like a hungry wolf's. The calluses on his fingertips left red marks on Xia Shu's waist.
"They always say how sweet you smell. They call you the Asian sweetheart behind your back.
"But I'm your fiance, Summer. I've wanted you for a long time."
Xia Shu: O.O
Joshua chuckled. "Looks like you didn't know I was your fiance, babe."
Leaning against Joshua's chest, Xia Shu couldn't help complaining in Chinese. "So what if you're my fiance? You're all looks and no substance. You're not even half as good as a toy..."
"Oh? Is that so?"
Joshua replied in fluent Chinese. "By the way, darling, I forgot to tell you that my mother is Chinese, so my Chinese is pretty good."
The man opened Xia Shu's nightstand and pulled out a bunny tail.
"Then, Teacher Xia, please show me how it's done. I'll study hard under my 'senior'..."
"And just to set the record straight, I'm not asexual."
