When the Wind Rises, Say Goodbye

Su Wan had secretly loved someone for many years, and finally got her wish when she married him.

After the wedding, they were neither warm nor cold toward each other, treating one another with polite respect. All in all, their life together was harmonious enough.

It wasn't until their wedding anniversary, when he suddenly broke his promise to meet her, that she learned he had cherished a first love deep in his heart for years.

When his first love returned to the country after her marriage fell apart, his eyes filled with concern as he gently stroked her hair.

That night, Su Wan handed him divorce papers. He coolly pressed them against the table and warned her not to make a scene.

Later, Su Wan left without looking back. He searched frantically across the world for her, calling again and again late at night, crying as he did.

All he heard in reply was a message saying the number was no longer in service.

Their love had no warmth left, only ashes.
