[A Battle Through the Heavens story focused on Lin Xiuya. I watched the anime and was blown away by how handsome he is! Here's a short fic, hehe~]

Just before graduating from Jia Nan Academy, Lin Xiuya suddenly felt that things around him weren't quite as peaceful as they seemed...

A few things to know before reading:

[1. I read the original novel and had complicated feelings. I think this character's goals were set up in a rather tragic way, so I'll butterfly some events in the later plot. I know this character is aloof, hahaha, but I still want to write about him. I'm rebellious like that.

2. The heroine is an original character, and she's overpowered. I generated her name at random, then adapted it from the Book of Songs to come up with this title.

3. I'm not putting down any character from the original. The original author is the best! But I may butterfly some events. This is just a little fanfic, so please don't be mean. I'm basically writing it for myself, thanks.

4. Text from the original is marked with []. I also reference other fanworks for the worldbuilding. That's how it is for an engineering student: I can't write a pure ship fic without making sure the logic works. Sigh.
