New novel pre-release: Supermarket Stockpiling: A Deadly Escape
An Yi was once a genius mage who changed the entire plane of magic. She was bold and reckless, arrogant and self-assured.
But now, this pale mage who could break at the slightest touch is also her.
Twenty years after leaving her homeland and heading to the human plane for some rest and recreation, An Yi discovered that she was growing thinner by the day. After trying everything, she finally confirmed that, for some inexplicable reason, she had lost a great deal of her magic, and her body had grown much weaker.
Put simply, she was about to die.
To save herself, An Yi returned to the plane of magic and did everything she could to obtain alchemy's one and only ultimate creation: the Elixir of Immortality.
-
An Yi's alchemy skills were mediocre. Back in school, her alchemy assignments had always been... done for her by a certain helpful classmate.
What on earth was she supposed to do? After a moment's thought, An Yi decided to start by finding a powerful alchemist to help her!
Perhaps a dragon, a legendary race blessed with an aptitude for alchemy?
That might not be enough. There was also...
A certain aloof elf with a terrible temper, who seemed to have become a god?
Her former genius upperclassman, whose seal was about to expire?
That holy knight, an adherent of the God of Light who loved to preach hope and love?
Wait, why was someone she would rather die than see mixed up in this?!
Back in the long-missed plane of magic, An Yi marveled that everything still felt so familiar: the leisurely, beautiful border town, the splendid, freezing snowfield auction, the bustling and fascinating academy of magic... Familiar places made things so much easier! Even without her magic, she had ten thousand ways to get what she needed.
They all said that pursuing immortality was "impossible," but she was determined to try for her own sake.
The preparations were going surprisingly smoothly. As An Yi calculated her progress and counted the time she had left, she even felt a little pleased with herself.
But she had yet to realize that her fate had long been written into history.
You once gave everything you had for this world. Now, as you stand once more at the cutting edge of fate, what will you decide?
What will the people around you choose?
The gods say that you were never apart.
One day, bored, An Yi sent out a group message: I need a bottle of restorative potion right now.
(Message just sent.)
Dragon: Would this one work? If it's not enough, I've got more. If you want something higher quality, give me two more days. I've got a new idea I can try...
Acting Elemental God: Silently sent a top-grade potion straight into her bag from across the air.
Vampire: My adorable An, become the most esteemed being in this world with me. No illness or pain will ever hurt you again.
Grand Paladin: I'm sorry, I can't heal you. I'll send the Holy Grail over for you to use first. It should ease the pain a little. I'll get a priest to come take a look too. They'll be there soon.
Fallen Dragon Upperclassman: (Fiddling with his phone, but unable to figure out how to use it, he sent some random crying puppy sticker.)
Half a day later, An Yi returned from shopping with the young witch to find the entrance to her home piled high with things. A crowd of oddly dressed people was packed outside, drawing stares from every neighbor and passerby.
An Yi dropped her orange shopping bag, feeling her temples throb. Her powerful voice-transmitting spell swept across the whole crowd: "How many times have I told you? Remember to change your clothes when you come to this plane. I don't want to end up in the news!"
A certain acting god suddenly appeared out of thin air and, by an incredible stroke of luck, caught her shopping bag. "I'm late, but you don't look hurt."
Everyone looked down on him for being the biggest poser of them all.
- An original fantasy setting inspired by Western fantasy, mainly set in the plane of magic, with a small amount of the modern human plane
- There will be a love-rivalry scenario and a happy ending with everyone paired off. No choosing sides, and not everyone is romantically interested in the female lead
- I'll add more if I think of anything else :P
