Shiying: Chronicles of the Supernatural is a hit action comic serialized on Blue Star, renowned for its exquisite art and an author who never lets readers down.

It tells the adventure of the protagonist and his companions as they awaken supernatural abilities, defeat the Ancestor of the Shiying, and save the world.

But as the comic continued, a mysterious character entered the readers’ view.

His identity turned out to be one surprise after another. He toyed with the protagonist’s life while risking his own behind the scenes to protect him

1. HE! No forums, but there are a few bullet comments. There are secret identities (which will be exposed) and a mastermind behind the scenes (maybe??).

2. The protagonist is powerful, but due to the setting, he isn’t invincible and has weaknesses. He has a tragic past and is a poor soul who grew up without love. He has character flaws, including being tough on the outside but soft-hearted, insecure, and sensitive. He’ll change little by little, and there are quite a few passages about his mental state and injuries.

3. The protagonist has no romantic pairing; this is a story of deep friendship, though there may be a secondary couple (not in the main text).

4. This is not an academy novel, and there isn’t much depiction of academy life. Some biological-mechanical modification elements appear in the middle and later parts.
