The night the Justice League broke into the lab, I grabbed Batman’s cape and called him “Mom” for the first time.
He froze in place, and I seized the chance to use my word magic to alter all the experimental data.
Now the Batcomputer displays a pop-up: [Guardian relationship: confirmed].
Superman pointed at the Kryptonian test report and stammered at the word-magic kid who had called Batman “Mom”: “Bruce... when did you have a child?”
I hid behind the cape and chuckled. They’d soon find out that treating me like a fragile test subject was the biggest joke in the world.
(The kid is a very good baby, everyone, don’t misunderstand. I think someone who was abused in experiments might have impure motives, but I don’t think that’s a reason to judge whether they’re good or bad. They just want protection, right?)
