Former title: Calamity of Transmigration
The Fate of an Old Love
He Yuan had just died alongside her husband, who had long since become her enemy and wanted her dead, when she opened her eyes and discovered that she had transmigrated into the dynasty's most wanted criminal.
Here, being a transmigrator was a crime in itself. It was all because Li Jie, a fellow transmigrator, had deceived his fellow villagers when they rose up with him. He told them he planned to bring about equality for all, even though the political structure of the era made it difficult to leap from feudal monarchy straight into a communist society thousands of years ahead of its time.
He claimed that once they had won, he would reform the system from top to bottom and gradually build a socialist country where everyone was equal. Using that story, he tricked his fellow villagers into handing over their technology. Then, once the rebellion succeeded, he betrayed them, sent them to their deaths, and declared himself emperor. After taking the throne, he even offered a huge reward for the capture of any fellow transmigrators who had arrived after him, all to secure his rule.
The world outside was in a state of panic. Many transmigrators, and even people who weren't transmigrators, were branded as such and executed.
With her long hair falling over her shoulders, He Yuan had arrived at the wrong time in a long-abandoned mansion, haunted by memories that weren't hers. As if things weren't bad enough, she ran into a ghost inside the mansion. Fortunately, the ghost could communicate and didn't seem hostile.
She had thought the haunted house would be a safe haven, but He Yuan discovered that the outside world was full of danger and the mansion itself was no safer.
What on earth was the statue of the so-called “ancient sage” enshrined in the ancestral hall? Why did the copper coins meant to ward off evil mutter incomprehensible words? And to make matters worse, surviving a great calamity only led to another blow. The ghostly god who entered her dreams kept her awake and on edge.
He Yuan: “Everything that doesn't kill me keeps hitting me. Could anything else possibly go wrong?”
Heaven may have heard her question, because it replied, “Yes.”
In the midst of all this torment, He Yuan was shocked to realize that the ruler glimpsed in someone else's memories seemed strangely familiar. She also sensed something from the mansion's strange occurrences, but didn't want to get mixed up in this mess.
She wasn't dreaming of becoming a marquis or a minister. She just wanted to live in peace. But she had no idea that even her transmigration was part of a plot, and that she already stood at the very center of every mystery and conspiracy. She was unlikely to stay out of it.
And why did this emperor seem so familiar?
In life, we share one quilt; in death, we share one grave. Love and hatred entwined, in life and death, forever bound.

I found that if I just finished writing an article that I felt was okay, when I look back at it, I would feel that my writing was not good. I plan to save it for a few days before posting it, and revise the previous article.
What time will you update today?
Sorry. Because I haven't updated it for a long time, I forgot some settings when I wrote it, and now I find that [Lie Down] has been changed.
The article about the Moonlanders comes from a video on Bilibili. It roughly talks about when the United States first landed on the moon. Science fiction writers were very worried because when the United States landed on the moon, they said they came for peace, and they also said the same when they went to colonize the Indians.
Details multiply like lines and surfaces. I always feel like I can add some details.
