Two Hundred Years of Underworld Contract Work

People in the mortal world burn incense and make wishes at small temples and churches, praying for children, wealth, and love.

They don't know that these wishes become outsourced orders, sent to the wish-granting register in the underworld.

Gu Dongqing is a star employee.

Her best friend calculates karma, a master keeps costs down, and the boss negotiates the division of merit. This organization has been around for over two hundred years, handling more than eighty percent of outsourced orders in the Asia-Pacific region.

Their job is to make the "impossible" wishes come true at the lowest possible cost, making sure everything turns out "just right."

But every wish has a price. Some pay with their lifespan, some with their memories, and some with the merit they would have earned in their next life.

Some people don't live long enough to learn what the price is.

So they keep taking orders.

Until Lu Baichuan, a new male ghost intern, disrupted the peace of the wish-granting register.

Every ghost knew he had an ulterior motive for joining them.

But none of them guessed that the person he had an ulterior motive for was Gu Dongqing.
