Seventeen-year-old Lin Yu suffers from a serious mental illness and is often bullied at her new school. When she is cornered in an alley one day, she meets Ye Xinqing, a 21-year-old tattoo artist. Lin Yu goes to get a tattoo and happens to visit Ye Xinqing's tattoo studio, but Ye Xinqing refuses her request. After Lin Yu repeatedly pesters her, Ye Xinqing agrees to protect her. As they spend more time together, they develop feelings for each other. In the end, Lin Yu is forcibly sent to a conversion therapy center. Under the pressure, she decides to take her own life, while Ye Xinqing develops severe delusions.
