Bai E, an ordinary country boy, got into the legendary Tree Court University through his own hard work. He packed his bags and said goodbye to his parents and his older sister, who grew peaches in the village, then bravely took his first step toward the city!
He expected an ordinary, simple life: registering for classes, making friends, and working part-time in his free time. But one night, a pitch-black monster shattered his peaceful routine. Wait, Sister Xilian, if you'd told me the city had things like this, I would've stayed in Sorrow Village! Watching the monsters wreak havoc all over the street as he stood beside his bicycle, the country boy was mildly astonished.
Just as he was wondering whether to call the police or call them first, then hop on his bicycle, named Dawn, and hurry to tell his roommates there were monsters, a familiar voice rang out in the distance.
"Catch, Bai E of Aelixieshe!"
Bai E saw something flying toward his face and instinctively caught it. It was a heavy, lunchbox-shaped object covered in a metallic sun pattern, with two straps.
He looked up and saw his mint-green-haired teacher leaning against a lamppost, gasping for breath as he gestured: "Strap this around your waist, then... turn the knob on the side, and twist the whole thing..."
"T-Teacher Nakesia?"
"First, call me Anaxagoras," Nakesia said after catching his breath. "Second... have you ever heard of Kamen Rider?"
Bai E: "?"
Bai E swallowed nervously. "I-I only know Ultraman. Is that okay, Teacher Nakesia?"
A completely modern AU featuring all the Golden-blooded characters, a Kamen Rider AU, packed with tokusatsu references, group banter, and OOC moments. There may be original characters. No crossovers, though I might toss in a few references. I'm not very good at describing cool suits, so use your imagination. Don't get hung up on the details. I just want to give everyone a happy life.
The protagonist is also the main Rider. Bai E is the focus, with no CP. I drew the cover myself, with no particular pairing in mind, but full disclosure: I'm an extremely passionate fan of the sibling platonic bond, so I might get carried away and write lots of affectionate moments. Feel free to steer clear if that's not your thing. If I have to name my preference, I'm an E'erma.
Anyway, I'll think as I go and write wherever inspiration takes me. For now, the characters who can transform are tentatively the ones with enemy monster forms.
