After the Half-Blood Tycoon Proposed, I Ran Away

Lin Qingyao was tired of a life full of scheming and decided to go straight. But on his very first day on the straight and narrow, he went back to his old ways: he conned a rich guy into falling for him.

He didn't expect his usual tricks to be unnecessary. His face alone was enough to win the guy over. The rich guy looked so handsome he couldn't possibly be local, and readily agreed to play along for three months.

On the first day after returning to the country, Lu Xing met a sweet, innocent-looking flower. From then on, he told everyone he had a boyfriend who was as beautiful as a celestial being, yet modest and honest. On the eve of registering their marriage, his boyfriend asked him, "Is there really no room for discussion?"

Lu Xing thought his boyfriend was worried they were mismatched in status, so he comforted him.

The next day, his modest, honest boyfriend disappeared.

Thinking he'd been kidnapped, Lu Xing frantically searched for him, only to uncover things his boyfriend had done behind his back and never told him about.

The day Lu Xing found Lin Qingyao, he was in a dim underground bar.

Lu Xing had prepared his own private villa for him.

A seemingly honest, pretty, clueless bottom who actually never stops spinning tales x a seemingly upright, aloof top who is actually a bastard with maxed-out possessiveness

Please note: Neither character is perfect, and both have their flaws. The top loves the bottom from beginning to end. Both are each other's first and only.

The top comes from an honest, incorruptible family, but has a nasty, entitled personality and will learn the hard way. This story feigns a forced-possession plot, and the top is a domineering, patriarchal old-fashioned type.

Theme: Be careful when you con people.
