[Naruto] Little Flame

Note: This isn't a story about an extraordinary heroine or a power fantasy. The heroine is just an ordinary person in ancient times who's a little unlucky. She's an 8.5-star heroine with a few flaws.

In the sixth year of the Changyuan era, a huge fire swept through Heian-kyo. Countless people were left homeless, and the western part of the Land of Fire fell into chaos. Vengeful ghosts and demons who preyed exclusively on young women appeared in the city. The families of Heian-kyo were terrified, and sought protection from the shinobi clans in the east through marriage alliances. After years of merciless hardship in the Warring States era, the elderly head of the Hagoromo Clan had no choice but to start arranging an escape route for his unreliable heir.

The Hagoromo Clan's heir was unreliable, reckless, hot-tempered, and feisty. In this era, she would meet a bad end no matter which family she married into.

Yet Tobirama thought this wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Compared to the huge headache of an alliance between the Uchiha and the Hagoromo, he thought the trouble caused by Hagoromo Zen was much easier to handle.

This story is a reimagining set against the backdrop of the late Heian period, the 1177 Angen Great Fire and the 1178 Jisho Great Fire.

The single greatest thing this story has going for it! The heroine and hero never! get! separated!

First-person narration, serious tone, canon-compliant. Those who are meant to die will die. Tobirama x a hot-tempered original female character, arranged marriage, bickering couple.

The story is mainly about these two troublemakers. In the first half, every time they meet, they argue and think of ways to embarrass each other.

They start out as enemies and end up falling for each other, but how they eventually accept the arranged marriage has to follow the plot. I can't just make things up. The marriage won't happen until at least twenty chapters in. The plot moves quickly, but the marriage takes its time.

Chapter 15 has a profile of the heroine. You can read it first to decide whether you want to give the story a try.

She spends twenty-three years by Tobirama Senju's side.

There are no particularly overpowered abilities or settings.

Theme: All things are impermanent. All that flourishes must fade.
