How a Hated Guide Tamed the Celestial Dragons

After living in the slums for eighteen years, Chu Xu awakened as a rare Guide, and his life was completely rewritten in an instant.

He received a ticket to the Sanctuary in the Upper District.

Chu Xu thought he had escaped hell, only to discover that the Sanctuary, so envied by the world, was rife with factions and social climbing, ranking people into countless different classes.

The tiny handful at the very top of the system were mockingly called the Celestial Dragons.

Most of these Celestial Dragons were violent, savage Sentinels. The stronger their mental power, the more volatile they became, constantly needing to vent. As a result, the Sanctuary was plagued by countless violent incidents.

And Chu Xu had caught their attention.

A Guide from the lowest rung of society, physically weak, with abysmal calming abilities and a twisted spirit form so unrecognizable that no one could tell what species it was.

He became the Celestial Dragons' new target.

In the midst of unbearable pain, Chu Xu began to hate the world. But he wasn't the one at fault. Why should he be the one to pay the price?

Drenched, he crawled out of the freezing river and returned to the Sanctuary. When he was cornered again...

He forcibly opened the mental landscape of Celestial Dragon No. 1.

Faced with the spirit forms of all kinds of beasts, being afraid and running away were no use. Better to make them submit and become their master.

Dominant gong. Guide gong.

I may make up some aspects of the Sentinel-Guide worldbuilding as needed for the story.

Because he has no powerful family backing and was born at the bottom, the gong will be bullied. It's a bit dark: he'll climb over these people, step by step, to make a better life for himself. He has no qualms about using these disgusting Celestial Dragons.

The endgame pairing isn't decided yet. It might be with his own spirit form...
