Seven years ago, he was accidentally marked by a male insect as part of a conspiracy. He had no choice but to accept the other's soothing. He'd held on for seven years, but his mental sea was now on the verge of collapse.

To survive, he turned himself in as a fugitive, gambling on a chance to live. He went to see Adrian, the high-ranking male insect.

At first, he only meant to seduce Adrian and use him. But in front of this male insect, so different from the one in his memories, he gradually lost himself.

He wanted to take him back to his own territory and keep him there.

Barry, an ancient insect with no common sense, is bundled off by Goodrich to a rebel school.

First lesson:

The teacher plays an opera based on his life and says, "Today, I'll tell you a story from the War of Freedom. Its hero, Barry, was the greatest assassin of all time. He successfully assassinated the tyrant Cyrus."

The students in the audience exclaim in admiration: "He's so handsome!" "I want to marry him!" "Now that's a real male insect!"

The real Barry, sitting in the front row: "..."

He sees the illustration in the textbook showing him dying heroically, and cracks apart with a sharp snap.

Your idol is the shortest, lowest-scoring transfer student in your class, sitting at the desk in front of you, and everyone thinks he's a female insect.

2.

Barry sees a well-dressed male insect on the StarNet, swaggering as he whips a female insect. Plenty of commenters support this violence.

Barry's eyes go wide with shock: ...

Mr. Wright, is this what my assassination back then was for?

3.

Goodrich is curled up in pain, suffering a psychic power rampage. Barry grits his teeth and cautiously releases tendrils of psychic power.

The once-raging mental sea actually calms down.

Goodrich slowly opens his eyes and gazes at the nape of Barry's neck, covered in paint: "Barry, what kind of insect are you?"

Goodrich holds a file on the greatest assassin of all time and looks sharply at Barry, whose hair is a mess as he chews bread and makes up his homework.

Goodrich reads from the file: "Barry, dragonfly species, male insect. Disappeared into a temporal rift after assassinating the tyrant..."

The bread drops from Barry's hand: "!!!"

Goodrich closes in step by step: "Care to explain, little friend? Or should I call you, Ancestor?"

Barry bristles: "Y-you have to hear me out!"
