After transmigrating into a male-oriented cultivation novel, Yan Le decides to latch onto the powerful Long Aotian so she can safely coast through the plot. But she soon realizes that this Long Aotian, Li Xiuneng, is seriously off!
He was supposed to become a prodigy sword cultivator, but right now he is just an obscure outer-sect disciple, spending his days sprawled in his little courtyard, feeding stray cats and dogs and sleeping in, with no ambition whatsoever.
To make sure the original ending, where he saves the world, goes off without a hitch, Yan Le has a flash of inspiration and lies to Li Xiuneng, claiming she is a "System" who can help him become the strongest Sword Sovereign.
After much cajoling, she pushes him to cultivate, following the original plot to claim his opportunities and grow stronger.
But after all that exhausting effort, all she gets in return is a lazy, "You're annoying."
So ungrateful! Yan Le decides to stop helping him and go after the opportunities from the original story herself.
She might as well become the Long Aotian herself!
Unfortunately, Yan Le overestimates her own abilities...
When she gets into trouble, she never expects Li Xiuneng, who can't even be bothered to pick up a sword, to come and save her.
But for some reason, Li Xiuneng is full of resentment as he grumbles darkly in her ear:
"System, are you abandoning the Host you chose?"

Li Xiuneng's troubles:
He can't be a lazy couch potato anymore. So annoying.
He actually looks forward to seeing Yan Le every day. So annoying.
He knows Yan Le is a liar, but still wants to believe her. So annoying.
He wants to cuddle with Yan Le forever and never part, but why is she ignoring him now? So, so annoying!
No! He has to go get Yan Le back.
She can only be his very own "System."
Theme: Self-reliance and strength
So Yan Le's desire is to become stronger, otherwise why would he always want to hold a sword?
I hope that both the male and female protagonists will not have long mouths 🤔
