Reborn in the 1980s: The Nation's CNC Industry

Lin Wanqiu was reborn in 1985.

One year remained until her father would lose a hand in a factory accident.

Ten years remained until China independently developed a high-end CNC system.

From mechanical engineering student to industry authority

From improving cotton-spinning equipment to leading the rise of domestic machine tools

Keeping pace with the times,

Lin Wanqiu and her like-minded companions

forge a path for China's CNC industry through the industrial wasteland of the 1980s.

Core message: The immortal spirit of China's industrial workers.
