Luo Sha is a well-behaved vampire. When she unexpectedly enters human society, she becomes a servant to the Luo family's second young master, Luo Che, to make a living.
Luo Che is handsome but controlling, and lays down all sorts of rules for her. For example, she has to sit in his lap and feed him during meals, kiss him before bed, and hug him every day.
Luo Sha assumes that's just how humans are, so she follows every rule.
That is, until the eldest young master, Luo Zhen, comes home late one night and she brings him a midnight snack.
The man sits in a spacious leather chair in his study, noble and imposing. Luo Sha picks up the bowl and sits on his lap.
Luo Zhen pauses, his gaze quickly darkening. "What are you doing?"
"Feeding you." She scoops up a spoonful and brings it to his thin lips. "Ah. Open wide."
He grabs her wrist. "Who taught you that?"
"Luo Che," Luo Sha answers honestly.
Luo Zhen stares at her for a long time. "Didn't he teach you to feed him mouth to mouth?"

Luo Sha accidentally lets slip her secret, that she's a vampire.
One day, she wakes up after a night of drinking to find the second young master, Luo Che, lying beside her with a satisfied smile in his eyes. "Last night, you told me you're a vampire."
Luo Sha: "I was joking."
He says, "You bit me."
She jolts fully awake and springs upright.
Luo Che languidly tilts his head back, exposing his pale neck. Sure enough, there's a reddish bite mark there. "Want to bite me again?"
Luo Sha: "Please stop tempting me. I really won't be able to hold back."
Luo Che rolls over and pins her down, coaxing her softly. "Then don't hold back."

After getting a taste of Luo Che, Luo Sha often loses control. The moment she sees him, she wants to bite him.
Luo Che is more than happy to oblige. In all sorts of corners, even at the dining table, he opens his collar and pulls her into his arms.
After years of vegetarianism, she finally gets to feast, but even she can't handle such a rich diet. After much soul-searching, Luo Sha decides to quit. The first to realize she's planning to run away is Luo Zhen.
Luo Sha: "Sir, I want to live a simple, frugal life."
The man impatiently loosens his shirt and tie, not interested in hearing her explain. Luo Sha is shocked to see a bite mark from her on his neck. "Did I bite you too?"
"Too?" Luo Zhen realizes something, his eyes instantly turning dark as a crushing presence bears down on her. "Tell me. Does he taste better, or do I?"
Luo Sha frantically swallows, afraid she won't be able to resist, and tries to escape, but Luo Zhen grabs her. "Bite me."
