A Dom's Housekeeping Handbook

A proud, aloof, refined painter, the bottom × a flirtatious heiress who’s great at housework, the top On the day Wei Xia’s painting wins an award, her girlfriend of six months breaks up with her. In the art gallery’s lounge, her girlfriend snaps, “You put all your energy into those stupid paintings. Where do I fit into your heart?” Wei Xia doesn’t try to stop her. If they’re not right for each other, so be it. When Wei Xia returns from a business trip, she finds her home a mess and hires a cleaner. Wei Xia doesn’t like talking to people, and she doesn’t like anyone touching her things. She has so many demands that no one wants to work for her. But somehow, the cleaning company agrees and sends someone over the next day. The new cleaner is her first love from her student days: stunningly beautiful, born into a prominent family, and with long, slender fingers that somehow make even holding a broom look more elegant. Shen Qingyue, someone she once never dared to hope for, now stands before her in an apron. “Miss, is there anywhere else you’d like me to clean?” For some reason, Wei Xia pretends not to recognize her. She simply offers her a generous salary to stay. The new cleaner is excellent at her job. She leaves the floors spotless, hand-washes Wei Xia’s silk pajamas every day, and takes her cat for regular checkups... Shen Qingyue’s family has fallen on hard times, so naturally she needs to find someone to support her. She ends up at the home of the brilliant student she used to secretly admire. She takes meticulous care of everything for Wei Xia, making her gradually unable to live without her. Eventually, Wei Xia even trusts her to wash her underwear. When things at home improve, Shen Qingyue prepares to quit. Wei Xia can’t sit still any longer. She grabs all of Shen Qingyue’s luggage, pins her against the door, and forcefully kisses her first love, clinging to her shamelessly. “How much do I have to pay to make you stay?” Shen Qingyue smiles, her eyes curving as she twirls a strand of Wei Xia’s hair around her finger. “Hmm. I’m very expensive, you know.” One-on-one, both leads are each other’s first and only. The bottom had a partner before, but she loved painting too much for them to ever be physically intimate.
