Sharp-tongued, wicked heroine vs. lovesick hero who throws himself at her
Song Jiyue is the eldest son of the Song family. His arrogant, overbearing nature and vindictiveness are as famous as his family's power.
The only person allowed to stay by his side is Yun Yao, who has been his personal attendant since childhood.
Song Jiyue gives Yun Yao everything without reservation, indulging her in whatever she wants. This proud young master acts like a well-behaved dog around her, wanting only to stay by her side. He thinks they love each other.
Then he is found to possess an Unfeeling Sword Root, and a sect offers him a place. His family pressures him to bring honor to their name. Song Jiyue doesn't want to give up on their relationship and tries to elope with her, but Yun Yao stabs him with her own hands. She tears up his marriage proposal, tramples his dignity underfoot, and joins his family in packing him off to Qingyun Mountain.
Song Jiyue wants to kill her, but the sect's rules hold him back. He can only patiently wait ten years, until he breaks through to the Deity Transformation stage, before hurrying back to town.
At their very first meeting, he sees Yun Yao flirting with another man.
She moves on to someone else the moment she's rid of him? In her dreams!
Song Jiyue laughs in a fury and changes his mind. He won't kill her. He'll keep her trapped by his side for the rest of her life. She can forget about being with anyone else, even in death.
Little Scene
Yun Yao considers herself such a wicked woman that even Buddha would sigh at the sight of her.
She really can't understand how she ended up attracting the nuisance Song Jiyue.
“Tell me, what exactly is so great about me?”
I can change, can't I?
Song Jiyue thinks for a long time before answering seriously, “You're cold-blooded and heartless, selfish, ungrateful, greedy, lazy, don't like doing housework, and bully rabbits. There's really nothing good about you.”
Yun Yao clenches her fists. Through gritted teeth and with a dark look on her face, she asks, “Then what do you see in me?”
“Good question. It's because I'm blind, uniquely and exceptionally blind, and you're exactly my type.”
Song Jiyue, a once-in-a-century genius of the cultivation world, has two rules for choosing a partner:
1. They must not betray him.
2. They must love him.
As luck would have it, Yun Yao meets neither condition.
Reader advisory: My take on immortal cultivation, with lots of original worldbuilding.

Title: The Paragon of Virtue Decides to Seduce Me
Synopsis: Genius, scheming heroine vs. hypocritical, insecure hero
Xu Guanhe has a perfect senior brother, Shen Qingxu: graceful and refined, pure and immaculate.
Shen Qingxu treats her wonderfully. He buys her pastries, takes her to the night market, and gives her a very expensive sword tassel to hang on her sword every day. He's so attentive that even their fellow disciples wonder if he's in love with her.
Of course, that can't be true. Xu Guanhe knows her own worth. The chances of someone as otherworldly as him falling for her are about the same as a meteor hitting Earth.
Most importantly, Shen Qingxu's eyes hold none of those worldly desires.
After much soul-searching, she resolves to become someone worthy of him. Xu Guanhe devotes herself to cultivation until she reaches the Nascent Soul stage, then goes to confess to him full of anticipation. She hasn't even said a word when she suddenly hears a mysterious voice in her head.
Why is he trying so hard to seduce her, yet his junior sister still cultivates so quickly?
His place as the sect's number one genius has just vanished into thin air.
Can't this genius just get out of his world...
The cruel truth leaves Xu Guanhe petrified. She stares wide-eyed in disbelief, then tentatively calls, “Senior Brother.”
The harsher Shen Qingxu's inner complaints become, the more warmly he smiles, like a spring breeze. “Guanhe, what is it?”
Oh, nothing. Just a young girl's heart shattered into pieces.
The senior brother she has admired for so long turns out to be a scumbag, wicked to the core. Xu Guanhe turns her sorrow into a desire for revenge. She decides to make Shen Qingxu experience what it's like to be toyed with.
Then, one day, in a certain year and month...
A man who is always putting on an act is tied to a bed, his clothes in tatters and his beautiful eyes glistening with tears. Xu Guanhe looks down at him, gripping his chin, and whispers scornfully into his ear, “Dear senior brother, cultivation isn't the only way to come first. Dual cultivation works too.”
“From the Golden Core stage to the Nascent Soul stage, how many days do you think we'll be staying here?”
Shen Qingxu bites his lip in humiliation, tears of regret welling in his eyes. He should never have provoked this madwoman.
Shen Qingxu isn't gifted, and he lacks insight, so he has no choice but to work twice as hard. He gets up earlier than the chickens and goes to bed later than the dogs, day after day, year after year. It takes him ten years of perseverance to reach the Golden Core stage.
He thinks hard work can truly make up for the gap between himself and a genius.
Until Shen Qingxu meets Xu Guanhe, a genius who reaches the Golden Core stage after just one year in the sect.
The difference between a swan and an ugly duckling is vast. Blinded by jealousy, Shen Qingxu approaches Xu Guanhe with ill intentions.
He thinks maliciously, If only she would waste her time indulging in pleasure instead of cultivating.
But gradually, things change. When Shen Qingxu looks into the young woman’s sincere, loving eyes, he finds himself unable to do anything.
He pretends to be the Shen Qingxu she imagines, reluctant to take off the mask. Perhaps he's afraid she'll hate the real him.
Until Xu Guanhe takes it off with her own hands.
Everyone knows the truth: Shen Qingxu loves Xu Guanhe. It's just that neither of them believes it.
Premise: Love is the cure that heals the wounds of life.
It's really rare to find such a love-minded male protagonist 😍
"Yun Yao raised her lips in a good mood..." This is a big bug for the author~
""Which grandpa wants to get married..." This is a big bug for the author~
The male protagonist who understands love so well is actually a ruthless genius. It can't be a mistake 😂
