After Getting Stuck with a Yandere System

[Blunt, lovestruck junior sister x fake neat freak, real scheming senior brother]

Xiao Jinyu had lived an honest, ordinary life for eighteen years when she got saddled with a lovestruck-girl seduction System. Her target was Nan Wuyu, the dignified, aloof leader of the Sword Sect, who suffered from severe cleanliness issues. He was, more or less, her senior brother.

The System called it seduction, but its missions were downright depraved. Things like sneaking a peek at Senior Brother while he bathed, secretly stuffing her undershirt under his pillow, drugging him and then getting up to no good with him... Nothing but utterly shameless acts.

"This isn't seduction at all. It's harassment! Only a lunatic would fall in love with someone who keeps harassing them."

Xiao Jinyu was furious, but it did no good. If she failed to complete a mission before the time limit, she would be tormented by the love-worm curse until her body exploded and she died.

To stay alive, Xiao Jinyu completed her missions cautiously and nervously, until the day she was caught... Nan Wuyu grabbed her by the throat and made her explain every detail of how she had drugged and harassed him.

He said, "If you tell even one lie or keep anything from me, I'll kill you."

The honest Xiao Jinyu was so frightened that she immediately told Nan Wuyu the whole story, including the System and its missions, begging him to spare her since none of it was her choice.

Luckily, Senior Brother Nan only looked cold and aloof. He was actually a decent person. After hearing what she'd been through, he didn't blame her. Instead, he said he would help her complete the System's missions.

But the System's missions grew more and more outrageous, often requiring the two of them to sleep in the same bed. Xiao Jinyu felt guilty and acted all awkward, but Nan Wuyu was perfectly open about it, as if he cared even more than she did. Later, things got worse and worse. Xiao Jinyu could no longer bear the guilt, and she didn't want to keep holding her senior brother back or ruin his future. So she left the mountain and found a male puppet that could be used to cure the love-worm curse.

But she never expected Nan Wuyu to chase her down the mountain. Even less did she expect that Senior Brother Nan, who had always treated her so well, would cleave the male puppet's head off with a single stroke, without even blinking. Blood spattered all over him, but he didn't wipe it away. Instead, he calmly carried her back to the sect.

Nan Wuyu held her terrified face between two fingers, his thumb brushing over her pale lips. He smiled as gently as always.

"Don't be afraid, A-Yu. Senior Brother won't hurt you."

"They were the ones who led you astray. How about Senior Brother kills them all?"

It turned out that there really were lunatics who could fall in love with someone because she harassed them.

Her Senior Brother Nan, that wonderful man who kept his distance from women and was strict with himself, the very model of righteousness, was that lunatic.

One-on-one romance, both leads have no past partners, pure-hearted leads, melodramatic kink-filled sweet romance.

Reading guide:

1. The male and female leads aren't perfect. The male lead is scheming and darkly possessive, pretending to be a good person in front of the female lead. The female lead is a little dense and straightforward, and ends up doing a lot of very unstraightforward things.

2. The goal is to make a simple, delicious romance. The setting is kept as streamlined as possible. The prose is plain, and the cultivation and fantasy elements are my own take on the genres. The plot is entirely fictional and serves the romance. Set in an alternate world with an old-fashioned feel.

3. The pacing is somewhat slow and leans toward everyday life. The romance takes up 70 to 85 percent or more of the story, with very little cultivation. There's a small ensemble cast, but the focus is mainly on the couple. This isn't a story about a strong female lead's growth.
