[The story went off track, so I'm dropping it]
Jiang Mingyi transmigrates into the otome game she was playing before bed, becoming the same-named, evil second female lead who serves as a foil.
The game's five male leads all have over-the-top, swaggering personalities, and in the end, for the player's sake, they have the evil second female lead, who is always asking for trouble, executed along with her entire family.
Male Lead No. 1 is a cool, aloof top scholar who came first in all six imperial examinations. He's allergic to people, looks at everyone as if to say "You're trash," and coughs nonstop every time he appears.
Male Lead No. 2 is a genius general who's undefeated in battle. He frowns all day and looks fierce enough to scare anyone. If someone says a couple of classical phrases in front of him, he scowls as if ready to charge in and beat them up.
Male Lead No. 3 is a young emperor who took down all his siblings, even his own father. He's the living embodiment of an underdog triumph, always smiling like a harmless good guy, but can kill someone in the blink of an eye. His officials beg Heaven to take this second King Zhou away.
Then there are Male Leads No. 4 and No. 5. Every one of them is a full-blown spectacle. That's what you expect from otome-game male leads.
After recalling every one of the evil second female lead's endings, Jiang Mingyi hugs herself and resolves to grind up her affection scores and clear her name.
She gives a bow to the coughing top scholar, books to the general who loves martial pursuits, and a wine pond, meat forest, and, er, gourmet food to the second King Zhou of an emperor. And so on, and so on.
She's working so hard. Surely these people will think Jiang Mingyi is a wonderful person, the only pure white jasmine in the capital, right?
P.S.:
1. The dynasty is fictional. All the worldbuilding exists to serve my needs.
2. The heroine's parents aren't traitors. This will be explained later.
3. The plot in the blurb may not be exactly the same as in the story.

Will Solving Cases Keep Me Alive as a Noble Consort?
After transmigrating, Yu Zhihan feels the soft fabric against her before even opening her eyes. Delighted, she thinks, Is it finally my turn to live the good life?
But once she opens her eyes, the pain hits her all at once. Someone has forced her to kneel on the ground, and on a high platform in front of her sits a creature dressed in bright yellow.
The bright yellow creature speaks: "Consort, do you know your crime?"
How dare you! She just transmigrated here. What could she possibly have done wrong?!
Of course, she doesn't say that out loud. Yu Zhihan hasn't had enough of life yet, and doesn't want to bring it to a sudden end.
She glances around. On her left, a woman in extravagant palace robes watches her with smug satisfaction. In secret, she's having an affair with the head of the guards. On her right, an unknown consort with refined, ladylike manners is actually planning to sell government posts and rake in money with her clan brother. Near the emperor stands another bright yellow creature, who doesn't care about any of this. She's preparing a springtime potion, waiting until she gets pregnant so she can poison the emperor and become a second Empress Wu.
Huh? How does she know all this?
Because the guard having an affair with the consort on her left is holding her down from behind; the clan brother planning to make money with the consort on her right is nearby, putting on a show of heartfelt grief; and a pretty young eunuch beside the emperor keeps sneaking a hand to the purse at his waist. He's obviously guilty of something.
As for what any of this has to do with her, a consort who's about to die...
Good question. She wants to know, too.
After all, what could that puppet emperor up there do, even if he knew all this?
Probably nothing, right?
