Lin Zhizhi graduated from medical school. To care for her elderly, sick grandmother, she answers the government's call to return to her hometown and take over her grandmother's veterinary clinic, starting a rural self-media business. On her first day back, a menacing black cat out for revenge turns her into a half-grown kitten.
Wasn't it forbidden to become a spirit after the founding of the country? And she doesn't remember ever offending a black cat!
Just when she is despairing over being turned into a kitten, she gets bound to the Cat Rescue System.
[Ding! The Cat Rescue System has been bound! Host, work hard to complete your missions and lift the cat spirit's curse!]
"..." At that moment, Lin Zhizhi is as helpless as a cat...
Completing missions earns Cat Paw Coins, which can be used in the shop to buy items and medicine to cure her grandmother.

As Lin Zhizhi struggles to control her cat body, she feels as if the scruff of her neck has been seized by fate.
"What a pretty little orange cat."
Believing that if you move too slowly, you'll miss your chance, Gu Qiaoxi scoops up the kitten and carries her into her courtyard.
Lin Zhizhi: "..." What a rude person.
