Fresh out of college and between jobs, Wu Nan starts working as a sleep-aid streamer from his rented apartment.
Wu Nan has a top donor who always shows up whenever he goes live or posts a new video.
To show his appreciation, Wu Nan decides to invite this top donor to his home for an in-person sleep-aid session.
But there's something strange: why did this top donor show up wearing a mask?
As they get to know each other better, they add each other on WeChat and start an online romance.
When they finally meet in person, Wu Nan doesn't see his top donor. Instead, he sees his boss, Gu Beiyan.

Hold on. So his top donor is his boss???
Then what about all the times he complained to him that his boss was expressionless and aloof, like an annoying client???
