The player is a six-foot-tall, super-strong, awe-inspiring female Commander of the Swords.

The game is set after the Temporal Government's headquarters has been destroyed. Most of the old-school Commanders of the Swords have perished, the Interdimensional Converter, one of the core powers, has been destroyed, and the Sword Warriors, the second core power, have fallen asleep. The real world has been warped by distortions in time and space, which can lead to strange situations like "roads appearing in ancient times." The remaining forces of the Temporal Government have gone underground to evade the Time Retrograde Army while searching for an opportunity.
The player must fight the Time Retrograde Army while awakening the Sword Warriors and searching for the fragments of the Interdimensional Converter. In the end, they must reclaim history.
