Divine Drifter: Dragonfolk

Tang Qi has a strange problem: whenever someone develops malicious intent toward him, he immediately loses his memory. He's caused plenty of trouble over the years, dragging his family into it, and forgotten a great many things.

That summer...

He joined an online game as a streamer, thinking he was just an unlucky player trapped inside because of a "glitch." Later, he remembered that as a child, he had received a plea for help from an evil god in an adventure-puzzle game: "Evil spirits are wreaking havoc in this world, but they don't know they're already nearing their end!"

"Our Star Nation has advanced technology, and our people live in peace. Are you trying to fool me?!"

It wasn't until he unlocked part of his memory that he learned who he was.

Civilizations across the universe often give rise to evil spirits. Their corruption lies behind the hidden truths of history.

The god made a pact with the Evil God.

Will you be able to find the real answer?

"The world says I am cruel and unfathomable, but they do not know that I, too, love and pity them."

The once most powerful Lord of the Evil Gods in the universe will ultimately return as a true god!

About two years ago, Tang Qi introduced himself to Xie Zan's friends like this: I'm his boyfriend!

But the other man angrily demanded to know why he had said that.

Afterward, the other man never contacted him again.

Later, he was unlucky enough to get trapped in an online game.

There, he met the other man again.

But this time, the other man told him very seriously, I want to save you!

*What do you do when you lose your memory, mistake your best friend for your boyfriend, and get chewed out for it? Asking for a friend!

Xie Zan: I'm very straightforward.

Tang Qi: You're very straight!

1. One-on-one romance, HE, each other's first love, both leads are each other's only love.

2. Their relationship develops over time, and neither lead can be replaced.

3. Plot and romance (7:3), with lots of original worldbuilding. Three storylines run in parallel: game instances, the real world, and memories. A wild, absurd story.

4. The blurb has been simplified. Some plot points from previous versions have been changed or removed. The story itself is definitive.

5. The first installment has one main story arc. The "Dragonfolk Arc" uses a metaphor to explore "past and present." Readers who don't understand the meaning needn't worry; you can just read it as an ordinary story.

6. Please Don't Mistake the Evil God for a Mental Patient 2 has been retitled God Drifter 2: The Twelve Evil Gods, and is available to preorder.

7. This story is divided into volumes, each featuring a different civilization and its vast world. The next installment takes place in the "Xi Town Star River Empire."

8. After the Star Nation arc concludes, the story will include various short bonus arcs. Readers can suggest what they'd like to see, and the author will consider writing it.

Notes:

1. The verse in Chapter 15 comes from the public teachings of the Tang dynasty Zen master Congshen of Zhaozhou, also known as Zhaozhou, and is recorded in works such as The Five Lamps Meeting at the Source and Essentials of the Transmission of the Lamp. It is known as the "Three Turning Words of Zhaozhou."

2. The speech in Chapter 28 is inspired by President Lincoln's 1863 Gettysburg Address.

Theme: Meeting depends on fate; staying together depends on the heart. With a steadfast heart, you can cross the starry rivers.
