The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom
And his tongue talketh of judgment
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation
For when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life
Lord, divine fire, have mercy on us
Oh, how sacred
How serene
How benign
How pleasant
Oh lily of chastity
The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom
And his tongue talketh of judgment
And his tongue talketh of judgment
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation
For when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life
Our Lord, divine fire, have mercy on us
Oh, how sacred
How serene
How benign
How pleasant
Oh lily of chastity
The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom
His tongue tells of justice
Blessed is the one who endures temptation
For after being tested, they will receive the crown of life
God, holy fire, have mercy on us
Oh, how sacred
How serene
How merciful
How pleasant
How pleasant
Oh, lily of purity
