Two-faced, refined scoundrel actor male lead x energetic, sunny photographer female lead
Happy ending | Substitute | The pursuit after losing her | From bickering to love | Daily updates at 6 p.m.
The biggest stain on Lin Jianqing's career was being mistaken for a celebrity stalker with ulterior motives when she was a professional photographer.
One day, on her way home from work, she was desperately looking for a restroom when she ran into top-tier star Shen Si in an underground parking garage.
Shen Si had just become so stressed he could barely sleep after a stalker broke into his hotel. He shot a cold glance at the camera around her neck and spoke with a fake smile:
"Just passing by? That's what all stalkers say."
He deleted all the work files from Lin Jianqing's camera and walked away without looking back.
At that moment, Lin Jianqing hated this two-faced man with all her heart.
Who knew fate had a joke in store?
The next day, Lin Jianqing brought her camera to the set and became Shen Si's new behind-the-scenes photographer.
Wearing gold-rimmed glasses, Shen Si smiled gently at her in front of others. But as they passed each other, he whispered mockingly:
"You went to so much trouble to follow me here. You must have had a hard time."
Lin Jianqing gritted her teeth and swore to use her lens to expose the rot beneath his polished exterior.
Her camera became the sharpest blade.
She photographed his gloomy emptiness in a corner after a flubbed take, his impatient eye-rolls during touch-ups, and his frenzied revelry at a lavish banquet.
At last, Shen Si was pushed completely over the edge by her.
He pinned her roughly in an empty corner, his scorching breath burning against her ear as he spoke in a dangerous, hoarse voice:
"Lin Jianqing, what exactly are you trying to do?"
She simply blinked, aiming her camera right at his furious face:
"Look, this is so much more authentic. You're so handsome, bro. We've got an amazing shot, bro!"
Shen Si: "..."
Lin Jianqing thought she was getting revenge, exposing him for who he really was.
But it wasn't until Shen Si's exhaustion and pain were revealed one by one through her high-resolution lens that she realized her heartbeat had long since betrayed her reason.
Later, Shen Si mistook Lin Jianqing for someone else's shadow, losing himself in the role until he could no longer tell fiction from reality.
His fingertips trembled as he touched Lin Jianqing's face, his desperate plea in his voice:
"If I need you, will you leave?"
Lin Jianqing rose onto her toes and kissed him.
"Shen Si," she said, "look carefully. I'm Lin Jianqing."
You're not acting, and I'm not anyone else's shadow.
