And once he does, all sorts of things come to light: not only does he unearth the sect's hidden secrets, he also discovers a red thread that seems... off.
Then, taking a closer look, he realizes his aloof, otherworldly second junior brother has feelings for him. Even his third junior brother, who usually never gives him the time of day, has feelings he can't admit.
Yuan Yimei is horrified.
He looks at his second junior brother, heartbroken. "Tonghe, aren't you the male lead? Male leads are supposed to be straight!"

1. The bottom is a cold-faced, even colder-hearted, theatrical male lead who kills without batting an eye. At first, he mostly uses the top, and has even tried to use someone else to kill him.
2. The top is a quick-witted office worker who sometimes cracks wise. He has no lofty ambition to "save the world," just the mindset that "my own well-being comes first," and is a modern person trying to get by in another world.
3. The top knows the bottom's true nature from the start, and will gradually grow stronger (it is a good-for-nothing-rises-to-the-top story, after all).
4. The top has dated women in the modern world, so he is not a virgin. He is a virgin after transmigrating into a new body in the cultivation world. The bottom is a virgin throughout. Also, due to his personality, the bottom will be more deeply in love later on.
