The first time Ye Yuzhe met Jiang Shi
was the first night after she quit her job and came to London.
The man onstage was devastatingly handsome, wild and flamboyant.
But when he left the stage, he disappeared without a word.
On her way home, Ye Yuzhe noticed Jiang Shi following her all the way to her door.
She gave a light laugh and turned around
“Hey, handsome. I admit you're charming, but I'm not that kind of girl.”
He gave her a lazy glance, then walked straight up and unlocked the door.
Ye Yuzhe discovers that her landlord and roommate is a strange man.
He hangs around bars every day, yet doesn't like smoking or drinking.
He always wears an icy expression, but tears up whenever he watches a movie.
He knows he's good-looking, yet blushes when people compliment him on the street...
One day by the Thames, the breeze scattered their breaths.
Unable to hold back her feelings, Ye Yuzhe asked, “Would you like to try dating?”
He replied coolly, “I don't date.”
“Oh.”
Later, he came looking for her again, looking thoroughly annoyed. “If you want to date, I can keep you company.”
Little scene:
The bar owner hadn't seen Jiang Shi in ages.
When he suddenly spotted him at the counter, he wondered if his eyes were playing tricks on him.
“Well, this is rare. Finally decided to leave your girlfriend?”
The man lowered his head and mixed a drink, saying nothing.
The owner yanked off his sunglasses and cried, “Holy crap, are you crying?!”
“She went back to China.”
“So what? Weren't you the one who said you'd break up if she went back?”
[Reading Guide]
1. A London romance and travel diary, not too long, about 150,000 characters.
2. Happy ending. He's a cocky guy, cold on the outside but warm underneath, who says one thing and means another. Ye is a romantic through and through. They meet at a bar, but they're both upstanding young people!
3. Expected to start updating around New Year's.
Theme: Love makes the world a little less awful
Dolphin! I like your writing very much. The plot of this book is smooth and the writing is vivid. The image of Yu Che is very vivid and three-dimensional! You can also feel that Jiang Shi is actually just a boy who doesn't know how to express love and habitually avoids love. But with Yu Che's healing and companionship, he can be himself and become a person who can joke, show his heart, and have expectations for life. I really like this book. Although I couldn't accompany you during the serialization, I am still very happy to read this book! I hope you can keep writing!
I've finished watching it, it's super nice! [Applaud]
This scene is so sympathetic, I feel homesick [ bursts into tears ]
Top top top top top top top
When will it be updated? Want to read the next chapter [Hold your chin]
I feel so uncomfortable and want to read the next chapter quickly
Locked! Release it for me
You must keep creating, the writing is super good! I have to read it even if I stay up late. I want to see more stories about people written by you. Looking forward to it~
What a heart-warming little story, I hope they can be happy forever in parallel time and space [please] [please]
If I really had a house in London, I would keep at least one and be reluctant to sell it TT
