It was only game testing, simple and safe, with nothing to lose even if she failed. What could be better?

With the mindset of lying flat and earning easy money, she started the game.

But once inside, Chloe faced an atmosphere of horror that felt increasingly real and a level of difficulty far beyond anything she had imagined.

Whispers in the darkness calling out "kitty" from every direction, a town legend about a tall, thin figure searching for his wife, red balloons following her everywhere, and notes covered in her name, written in crayon...

Obsessive love surged toward her again and again, while unseen things in the dark licked at her soul, trying to brand her as their own.

After surviving countless deadly encounters that left her trembling with fear, Chloe finally made it back to the reassuring real world.

But soon, she realized a terrible truth:

The twisted, viscous gaze that had watched her from the mist had never left her side.

Perhaps this wasn't just a game.

The indistinct static that had always filled her ears grew clearer, and countless voices came together to form a single sentence:

1. This is not a strong female lead story. Although the male lead won't hurt the heroine, she will still be afraid of him at first. Kitty is the heroine's nickname.

2. Many character traits have been heavily altered, with lots of original additions and gender-swapping. The male lead is split into multiple parts, is absolutely chaste, and his feelings for the heroine will always be stronger than hers for him.

3. Don't relate this to real life. I just want to write about the twisted love of an inhuman being.
