When Xian Shuang accepted a friend's invitation to visit a water town for inspiration, his friend had to leave him in the care of a teacher volunteering in the town on the very first day after he arrived because of a personal matter.

Xian Shuang nodded and thought, What would a grown man like me have to be afraid of?
But once he got a good look at the teacher who was taking him in, he thought, Maybe the one who ought to be afraid is someone else.
After Li Miyian came out as gay as an adult, his parents kicked him out. He went to teach in a remote mountain village, and helped the villagers sell oranges and develop the local economy on the side.
He thought his life would stay peaceful like this, until a very pretty young man suddenly moved into his home.

But he never made the first move. He only tempted him. The moment they met, as the scent of orange blossoms filled Li Miyian's nose, the young man smiled, his eyes curving like crescents.

"Yuelu Town" was written blindly by me, and everything in it including the festivals is fictitious. Please don't take it too seriously. The custom of traveling lanterns should be in the south. I rarely see them in the north (this is just my personal concern), including osmanthus, winter cherry trees, maple leaves and so on. In fact, I wrote this out of order, and I don't care if they are in the same town in reality. Anyway, there are them in Yuelu Town.
