The tall, imposing lord came in and stared at him with a grave expression, his gaze terrifying.

The room was filled with a sweet scent. The newly presented little lamb clutched a pillow and trembled. “Are you going to eat me?”

Hundreds of years ago, the gray-wolf family was betrayed in battle and suffered countless casualties. The aftermath left them with unstable pheromones that could make them go berserk.

As the lord of the territory and the strongest gray-wolf Alpha on the continent, Los had to wear a muzzle whenever he went out.

He despised animals that seemed delicate but were actually cunning, especially the new arrival at his manor: a clueless, pampered little lamb.

He pretended to be mute, was clumsy at his work, and would slack off and disappear whenever Los tried to scare him a little.

Los went to the lamb's house to catch him and settle the score.

And how would he settle it? Hmph. First, he'd take the crybaby lamb home!

Wen Mian was caught by the terrifying lord. When sharp fangs sank into the back of his neck, he had already imagined every possible way he might be eaten.

But the Alpha, who should have been overcome by raging pheromones, unexpectedly calmed down. He lowered his head and sniffed Wen Mian's damp tail.

“?”

The little lamb covered his butt and turned around, his face bright red. “Y-you're sick or something!”
