Li Ruotao is a succubus. Maybe, possibly, probably. She was supposed to have put her skill points into charm... but they went into... disappearing! So she's utterly uncharming, hovering on the brink of fainting or starving to death.

After an accident, she gets a System, which tells her that this world is the combined setting of five novels that were abandoned before the ending. All the villains have been given extremely high stats, and if they don't follow the plot, the world will go off the rails! One wrong move and the world gets destroyed. So she has to help the System keep these villains in check.

Li Ruotao: "What are you even babbling about? Are the villains hot?"

The System says smugly, "Obviously. Romance novels don't have ugly men."

Five villains = five men = five meals!

Li Ruotao's eyes light up at the thought, since she's nearly starving to death. So as long as I stop them from destroying the world, I can do whatever I want?

System: ?

System: You also can't let the villains die.

Li Ruotao's eyes shine even brighter. That's easy! Just let me eat a few more bites!

Li Ruotao: I'm ready. Let's get started!

System: Something feels off...

System: Never mind. Get to work!

Li Ruotao has no interest in winning them over, and the System is fine with caring only about the results, not the process. In theory, she could even kidnap the villains to stop them from messing up the plot.

But she doesn't. She just gives them financial support, since the System's money is free to spend; comforts them, since that makes it easier to "eat"; and keeps them company, because they're so handsome she doesn't mind looking at them a little longer.

And the result is...

The ambitious hero, who rose from a tragic background after losing his whole family, grips her wrist tightly. "I was the one who pursued you first. I'm the shameless one. I'm the one who was fooling himself... Could you please look at me a little more?"

The young movie star, famous from an early age but later trapped in a quagmire by an unexpected turn of events, hooks an arm around her neck. His voice whispers in her ear like a siren luring sailors astray. "Am I not good enough? Are they prettier than me? Xiao Tao, stay. Stay with me. I can give you everything you want."

I was only pretending to be your white moonlight! I'm after your bodies. How can you not tell?

Li Ruotao thought she'd just keep muddling along, but this stupid System can't count. There aren't five villains, but six, and it's even merged in a post-apocalyptic disaster novel!

You'd better explain how these bizarre mutants got here.

And she discovers that her charm stat... may, maybe, possibly, probably... makes her attractive to the mutants?
