Shen Yaoying was the daughter of an official in the late Southern Song. Her mother died when she was young, and her father was killed in battle. She had an older sister, Yaoxia, who married Xu Junbao, the third son of the Xu family of Yuezhou. In the second year of the Deyou era, Yuan forces captured Lin'an, and the Shen sisters were both taken north. The commander coveted Yaoxia's beauty and nearly assaulted her. Unable to bear the humiliation, Yaoxia wrote a poem titled “Mating Fragrance” on the wall, then drowned herself.
The poem read:
The splendor of Hanzhong, the finest sights of Jiangnan, still preserve the graceful ways of the Xuanhe and Zhenghe eras. Behind green windows and vermilion doors, in lofty halls of intricate beauty, silver hooks gleam for miles. Then suddenly the armies rose, banners crowding with a million fierce warriors. They swept into the land, and song stages and dance pavilions were left desolate, as sorrow fell like windblown flowers. For three hundred years, peace and prosperity endured; now all the institutions and culture lie in ruins. How fortunate that I was not taken north, but remain a wanderer in the south. Where is Xu, my husband, with whom I shared a broken mirror? I can only grieve, with no way to meet again. From now on, my dreaming soul will travel a thousand miles, night after night to Yueyang Tower.
Khan, it's been a month, why haven't you updated yet?
There are many characters, and the story is slowly getting into rhythm. The protagonist should be slowly growing stronger in this world of female heroes (my speculation), and there is another very important character Xu Junbao (I think he should be a very important character, although He is a scumbag) and has only two physical descriptions (well, except for Shen Yaoying's memories), and Shen Yaoying has not yet participated in the main plot of the entire story - fighting for the world, so this should be a very long article, I mean if it doesn't get confusing.
I haven't seen an article like this in a long time. It's so powerful and wonderful. The story should continue to be more exciting and trigger more powerful emotional and political conflicts. Every character that appears in the story is three-dimensional and full-bodied, whether it is Hikawa Momiji (her husband) who got lunch in the first chapter, or Alan who may be cannon fodder (actually I quite like Alan, kind-hearted children always have a hard life), Linghudie, Glacier Ring, Dongfang Fuxi, Dongfang Hexi, Qingchuan, Ouyang's family, Murong's family, everyone is well portrayed. Oops, I actually think the author writes well and is so powerful. Looking at the update time, I think this article is just a trap. What a pity.
Hey, I really hope to see a follow-up, but in the query column, I used the two tags of original and female protagonists and sorted the 153 pages by time. Then I saw the name on page 152, so I clicked on it, and I was hooked.
Hey hey...
O()↗ Please see my ID. . . . . .
I still feel that the previous name sounds nice and elegant.
It's a serious injustice. Jiuchong has its own spring like the sea~~fill the hole quickly! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Why is it that this article opens up a hole in Jiuzhong but doesn't fill it in? It's unfair, it's unfair, fill it in, fill it in~! ! ! ! ! !
It's still too little, and it feels a bit unsatisfactory.
I'm not very fond of Hikawa Rin, but I always feel a little tingly in my heart when I see her.
Damn, please update it soon
Didn't it say it would be updated once a week? Why hasn't it been updated yet? ~~~><
Why hasn't it been updated for so long...
Looking forward to it..
I don't like the kind of female portraits where men and women just exchange certain characteristics. It's very outrageous.
This article is to our liking...
Great update!
But when will the heroine cheer up? Alas, although women are weak, their resilience and perseverance are stronger than those of men. So, heroine, heroine, cheer up quickly, work hard, and kill that abominable Xu XX.
